5th Grade Battle of the Books, BOB

After reading over 20 books and working their way through 4 rounds of questions based on all the great books they read, The Bookworms earned the title of the 5th Grade BOB Champions.  They completed the last stage of the reading contest by competing online answering 25 different questions based on the book titles that they read as a team.   Zoe, Gracey, Kylie, and Jenna are the 2016 BOB Champions!  Congratulations girls!   Thank you taking the time to read all of these amazing books!  

EMS Chess Tournament

Friday, February 19th, was the beginning of the Edgerton Middle School Chess Tournament.  43 students in grades 6th - 8th came out to test their skills on the chess board.  The tournament is a double elimination tournament with every particpant guaranteed 2 matches.  With so many students taking part, the tournament will continue on Monday, February 29th.  We hope to crown the EMS Middle School Chess Champion before spring break!
